What card did you get? by Pennae What card did you get? by Pennae
One day my titles are going to make sense. Today is not that day.

For the same story as this one [link] and I even reused my tree leaves because I'm a terrible person. Story in short: he sold his heart to the devil but has no idea why, so he asks her to find out his reason and get back his heart somehow. It's a darker story of mine but everything I write is a little dark and depressing anyways so it's okay.

I'm still doing commissions, you can find info about sketch commissions here [link] or if you have something else in mind that's fine too. Not much longer though, so now (=while it's still April) is a good time if you want something.

Thank you! The character lineart is drawn in SAI on a vector layer, everything else is drawn in Photoshop. I think PS brushes are not very good for lineart (lines are always a bit blurry), but if you work on a very high resolution the pencil tool is great. I use it often (here only on the bridge and the leaves), it's very convenient for colouring :D My absolute favourite program for lineart is openCanvas though.

Oh, it's not a comic, it's a novel (and I actually write it in Hungarian). I'll probably have many illustrations for it though :D

Well, it's not my native language and I don't feel confident enough in my English for literature. The amount of readers doesn't really matter to me as much as the quality of my work :D

Many times I wish that my native language was English, because my mentality is very far from the usual mentality in my country, so it's very likely people outside my country would enjoy my stories a lot more. Like this the only way is to become famous and get translated into English (not very likely) :D
